Machine Operator Streetsboro, OH

1st Shift (6a-430p)

$25-27/hr

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Run the laser using the program and setup sheet you were given.
Take the cut parts out of the sheet and look them over for edge quality, dross, scratches and surface marks.
Check that the material you were given is right for the job before you run it.
Read the drawing to see what needs to be checked. Ask for help when you are not sure.
Measure parts with calipers, micrometers and height gauges, and make sure they match the print.
Watch for slugs dropping out and parts tipping up. Stop the machine before the head gets damaged.
