About this role
Section: Overview The Laboratory Assistant will provide day-to-day operational support to the Materials Science & Engineering team by assisting with routine laboratory activities, sample preparation, equipment handling, documentation, housekeeping, and other tasks required to maintain an organised, safe, and efficient laboratory environment.
Section: Responsibilities
- Support routine laboratory activities and assist team members with assigned technical tasks.
- Assist with the preparation, labelling, handling, and organisation of samples for testing and experimentation.
- Support the setup, cleaning, and basic handling of laboratory equipment and tools under appropriate supervision.
- Maintain accurate records of samples, laboratory activities, equipment usage, and other relevant documentation.
