Job Summary
- The Joint Venture Accountant is responsible for providing support to the Lead Budget Accountant and providing support on the various JV financial and reporting obligations to stakeholders, analysis, and compliance within the oil and gas industry.
- This role focuses on budgeting, performance, cost recovery, joint venture accounting and supporting the Lead Budget Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly joint venture financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
