Position Overview
We are seeking a Junior Endpoint Engineer to support a critical security and technology remediation initiative focused on identifying, troubleshooting, and remediating outdated Java applications across a large Windows device environment. This role will support the remediation of approximately 1,600 devices that require updates to Java applications, including outdated Java Runtime Environments (JREs) and Java Development Kits (JDKs), with the goal of completing the initiative by the end of 2026. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in SCCM/MECM, Microsoft Intune, PowerShell, and Windows endpoint management. This is an engineering-focused position rather than a traditional Tier 1/Tier 2 desktop support role.
