Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments of construction materials (e.g., rebar, cement, timber, electrical/plumbing fittings, aggregate) and verify deliveries against purchase orders, delivery notes, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts, reconciliations, and audits; report discrepancies, damages, or low-stock alerts immediately to management.
- Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels to ensure continuous workflow on-site without overstocking.
- Monitor shelf life and proper storage conditions for perishable materials (e.g., chemicals, adhesives, cement).
Material Issuance & Dispatch:
- Issue tools, equipment, and materials to site workers and subcontractors strictly against approved store requisition forms.
