Intermediate Software Developer, Full Stack (Python/React)
What you'll do here:
- Work within a multidisciplinary environment that brings together data science, software engineering, actuarial science, business, and design.
- Design, build, test, deploy, and operate reliable services and data pipelines in production.
- Develop end-to-end information extraction solutions, including classification, OCR and document-layout processing, model-based extraction, downstream refinement, and validation.
- Take LLM- and machine-learning-backed features from prototype to production by integrating cloud model providers and balancing quality, latency, reliability, and cost.
- Design and own distributed system components, including queue-based pipelines, fan-out and fan-in workflows, backpressure, idempotency, failure handling, retry semantics, and safeguards against data loss or duplication.
