Job title: Insurance/Relationship Officer
Responsibilities
- Assess client risk profiles and determine suitable insurance coverage
- Liaise with underwriters to obtain quotes and negotiate terms
- Review proposal forms and supporting documents
- Prepare and issue policy documents, cover notes and endorsements
- Manage client relationships and respond to policy and claims enquiries
- Monitor policy renewals and underwriting activities
- Stay updated on insurance market and regulatory changes
Requirements
- BSc/HND in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- 2–3 years’ experience in underwriting, relationship management or client servicing
- Knowledge of underwriting principles and insurance products
- Good knowledge of Nigerian insurance laws and regulatory requirements
- Strong communication, negotiation and client service skills
