About this role

Role Objective

Provide engineering authority for the tank instrumentation, safeguarding and control systems, from design verification through integration, functional testing and operational handover.

Core Roles and Responsibilities

Own the full instrumentation and control engineering scope for tank gauging, overfill prevention, and safety instrumented systems (SIS) associated with the crude storage tank upgrade.
Design, specify, and review radar-based Automatic Tank Gauging (ATG) systems, level/temperature/pressure transmitters, and their integration into the terminal's DCS/SCADA architecture.
Develop Functional Design Specifications (FDS), Cause & Effect diagrams, loop drawings, and instrument datasheets for all new and modified instrumentation.
