Job Objective / Purpose
Provide clinical and operational leadership for the hospital's inpatient services and lead the inpatient Medical Officers' team, ensuring safe, high-quality, efficient and financially sustainable care, effective patient flow and bed utilization, strong specialist and multidisciplinary coordination, and continuous improvement in clinical outcomes and patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- People Management
- Supervision & performance: lead, supervise and appraise permanent and locum Medical Officers, ensuring optimal deployment.
- Staffing & rosters: ensure adequate roster cover for Medical Officers with the MSM and HR, and coordinate specialist on-call rosters.
