Job title: Information Security Analyst (Microsoft Environment)
Information Security Analyst supports the protection of the College’s Microsoft-based environment by monitoring, detecting, and helping respond to cybersecurity risks. The Analyst performs day-to-day security monitoring, alert triage, vulnerability tracking, and reporting across Microsoft Active Directory, Azure (Entra ID), Defender, Purview, and Sentinel, and assists in maintaining the College’s security posture and compliance efforts.
Job Duties
Security Monitoring and Incident Response Monitor security alerts and events using Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel Investigate suspicious activity, incidents, and potential breaches Perform initial triage and assist the Information Security Engineer with containment, eradication, and recovery Follow incident response procedures and playbooks and recommend updates
