The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the planned activation of its online recruitment portal for eligible Nigerians interested in serving as ad-hoc election staff during the 2027 General Election.
According to the public notice published on 17 September 2026, the INEC Portal for the Engagement of Election Staff (INECPRES) is scheduled to open on Friday, 18 September 2026 at 8:00 a.m. and close on Wednesday, 18 November 2026 at 12:00 midnight.
INEC has previously used the INECPRES platform to recruit ad-hoc personnel for election duties, including Supervisory Presiding Officers, Presiding Officers, Assistant Presiding Officers, RAC Managers and RATECHs.
