About this role
Section: Responsibilities
- Manage import/export shipments and ensure timely clearance and delivery.
- Oversee shipping and trade documentation.
- Ensure compliance with customs and international trade regulations.
- Manage freight forwarders, clearing agents, shipping lines, and logistics providers.
- Negotiate freight rates and service agreements.
- Monitor logistics costs and identify savings opportunities.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Warehouse, and Operations teams.
Section: Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, International Trade, Economics, or a related field.
- 5–7 years’ experience in import/export, logistics, or international trade.
- Minimum 2 years’ managerial/supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping procedures.
- Professional certification is an added advantage.
