Job Summary (Purpose of the Role)
- Keeps the bank's technology running the core banking system, network, devices, and security systems withminimal downtime, protected data, and reliable daily backups.
Job Responsibilities
- Before opening, onfirm servers, core banking application, network, internet links, and power backup are all up.
- Create / modify / disable user profiles on the core banking system strictly on approved requests; enforce password policy.
- Provide first-level support to staff on system, hardware, and printing issues throughout the day.
- Monitor internet / ISP links and switch to backup connectivity during outages; log all downtime.
