OVERVIEW
The Hydraulic Lab Technician II works within a team environment to construct, fabricate, install, assemble, test, maintain, and remove equipment supporting test programs in the Hydraulic Test Lab. This role combines hands-on welding, fabrication, mechanical, and electrical skills with the ability to work safely and independently in a fast-paced industrial lab setting, while helping ensure equipment and test setups meet quality and performance standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work as a self-starter, taking initiative on tasks with minimal prompting
- Receive instructions and execute and track multiple tasks without direct supervision
- Adapt to shop standards and practices, remaining coachable and open to feedback
- Read and fabricate from drawings provided by the Lab Manager and Test Engineers
