The International School of Martyrs (ISM) is the largest international school in Libya and the oldest international school in North Africa – our school was established in 1954 as the Oil Companies School to educate the children of oil executives and diplomats posted to Libya. Today, our school is trusted by Libyan and expat families and is recognised as the premier international school in Tripoli.
Our school is an IB World School, authorised to offer the IB Diploma Programme. Our school is accredited by the Republic of Ireland’s State Examinations Commission and our students have the opportunity to write the Irish Leaving Certificate exams at the end of their grade 12 year. Our school is also accredited by the Libyan Ministry of Education.
