GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Healthcare Technician (HCT) reports to the Department Director and assists nurses in performing tasks related to basic patient care needs.
HOURS
7p-7a, 36hrs/week, every third weekend
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
- Demonstrates service excellence, teamwork and communication practices that result in patient, family and staff satisfaction,
- Demonstrates the ability to meet the expectation! of the department leader and annual performance standards expectations.
- Adheres to Corporate Compliance activities, nursing care standards, and the policies and procedures of the Medical Center and Nursing Services.
- Completes and maintains annual competency mandatory training requirements within the defined timeframes (i.e. safety, annual in-services, corporate compliance, confidentiality).
