About this role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee a 3–5 year institutional strategy and governance structure.
- Lead the research agenda, quality assurance, and policy-relevant outputs.
- Build a diversified funding pipeline across grants, consulting, and IP.
- Oversee budgets, financial sustainability, and cost recovery.
- Build and lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary research team.
- Represent the institute externally with governments, donors, and academia.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Research, Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Economics, Data Science, or a related field. PhD strongly preferred.
- 12–15+ years of progressive experience in research, development, consulting, policy, or academia.
- 7+ years of experience in senior leadership or institutional management.
- Demonstrated grant acquisition and donor partnership experience.
