About this role
Section: Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement credit policies and underwriting standards.
- Oversee loan portfolio quality and maintain NPLs within regulatory limits.
- Evaluate and approve credit requests for MSMEs, retail, and group lending clients.
- Identify and mitigate credit risks across loan products.
- Lead loan recovery and delinquency management activities.
- Collaborate on the development of market-relevant loan products.
- Ensure compliance with CBN, NDIC, and internal credit governance frameworks.
- Supervise and mentor credit analysts, loan officers, and recovery teams.
- Prepare portfolio and credit risk reports for management and board committees.
Section: Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Economics, Agricultural Economics, or a related field.
- Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
