Vestas Procurement is overall responsible for all Strategic Procurement activities within Vestas Wind Systems. Supplier Account Management, Negotiations, cost-out initiatives, Category Strategy Development and Implementation are key areas. Managing costs, supplier performance, localization projects, and new product development projects are our major focus areas.
Responsibilities
- This position is in our Service Material Procurement Team, which is part of Vestas Procurement. In Service Material Procurement, we are responsible for the strategic and tactical procurement of spare parts used to service our global fleet of turbines.
Your area will be Sensors and Transformer spare parts, and your responsibilities will include:
- Guide the strategic direction within your area with the relevant stakeholders
- Annual price negotiations
