The General Cashier is responsible for managing the hotel’s daily cash handling and disbursement operations, ensuring accurate collection, verification, reconciliation, banking, and safekeeping of cash and other monetary instruments. The role supports effective financial controls, compliance with hotel procedures and local requirements, and provides operational support to Front Office and Food & Beverage teams to ensure efficient and accountable cash management.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the daily cash control process, ensuring all cash, cheques, credit card vouchers, and remittances are accurately collected, verified, reconciled, and securely accounted for.
