- Prepare food items and assemble patient meal trays
- Help patients make menu selections
- Assist with tray delivery and retrieval
- Clean work area and floors, and load dishwasher
- Label and date food and supply items
- Maintain and stock food and supply items
- Assist in retail dining area
- Complete documentation
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications of the Food Service Attendant
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Previous satisfactory work experience desired
- Ability to lift 20 lbs. occasionally and stand/walk throughout shift
