Responsibilities
- Negotiate and secure loads for assigned trucks to choice locations.
- Ensure drivers deliver the right quantity of clients’ products to their required location within the given time limit
- Ensure proper and thorough inventory is taken prior to assignment or retrieval of a truck from a driver.
- Conduct random asset inspections and monthly accessories inspection as well as submit report on outcomes.
- Monitor the progress of drivers and serve as their first point of contact should a problem arise
- Conduct, in conjunction with the tracking unit, proper tracking of drivers in transit to ensure prompt and target time of delivery is achieved
