Responsibilities
- Cost control: Track daily operational costs across slaughtering, processing, packaging, and distribution with a view to ascertain production cost per unit of output and order.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies between standard and actual costs (materials, labour, utilities) of production.
- Partner closely with the Engineering Team on monthly review of Energy and Maintenance costs.
- Partner closely with Warehouse Team on inventory reconciliation, stock write-off and other reporting matters.
- Prepare monthly cost reports, gross margin analysis, SKU profitability and landed cost calculations.
- Support the preparation of monthly forecast and annual budget for the business unit, aligning with production targets and sales forecasts.
- Recommend efficiency improvements in energy use, labour allocation, and supply chain management.
