JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
The Field Coordinator - Distribution is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality execution of all distribution construction, maintenance, restoration, and switching activities through thorough and proactive planning. This role focuses on anticipating hazards, validating switching orders, determining when EWP/DWP analysis is needed, and embedding Life Critical Rules, grounding requirements, clearance expectations, and safe‑work practices directly into pre‑job documentation – including executing where applicable. The Field Coordinator - Distribution validates all work packages against approved standards, assemblies, and work methods, performing site assessments, access reviews, and material verification to eliminate rework and prevent delays.
