About this role
Role Factory Machine Operator (Soap Mixer Operator), Production and Finishing, PZ Cussons Nigeria, Aba plant in Abia State. Reports to the Production Supervisor and Technician.
Purpose Operate and control mixing activities in the Finishing Plant.
Responsibilities
- Tend equipment such as mixers, weighers and conveyors to move materials through production.
- Read batch cards to determine production information and specifications.
- Start the machine to mix materials for the specified time, stop when product qualities are met and open valves to transfer mixtures.
- Examine materials and products to ensure they conform to established standards.
- Comply with all Business Unit SOPs and Standard Operating Conditions, Good Manufacturing Practice, and all safety standards.
- Clean and maintain equipment and carry out housekeeping activities.
