Duties
- Carry out general maintenance of screen houses and glasshouses to ensure proper functioning and compliance with research requirements.
- Supervise screen house staff, technicians, and casual workers engaged in maintenance and construction.
- Supervise and coordinate the construction of new screen houses and related infrastructure.
- Conduct repairs, including replacement of roofing glass, nets, and frames; oversee washing, cleaning, and fumigation of screen/glasshouses.
- Conduct daily inspections of all screen houses and glasshouses to identify repair or maintenance needs.
