Our manufacturing client is seeking an Engineering and Tooling Manager for their team You’ll oversee engineering, tool and die, and design operations to support the company’s core business of metal stamping. This is a full-time, direct-hire role with great benefits.
Responsibilities of the Engineering and Tooling Manager
- Establish and implement the strategic direction of the company’s engineering and development initiatives
- Plan, direct, and oversee all activities for engineering, design, and tool and die manufacturing operations
- Work hands-on on the production floor, participating in product design, troubleshooting, and engineering improvements
- Supervise a team of 10-15 employees including Engineers, Machinists, Tool Makers, and other personnel; oversee workflow and staffing needs, and provide performance evaluations
