Volt is immediately hiring a Engineer I in Carson, CA.
As an Engineer I, you will:
- Apply Lean Manufacturing activities to improve the companies operations regarding with process efficiency, quality, productivity and savings.
- This professional works actively on Kaizen events wave, give support in operations and promote lean culture in the company, also with the use of lean tools helps the organization to development or deploy 5S's program, participative innovation and Layout changes; Maintains a continuous learning environment with production and support functions.
- Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture
- Supports the site's projects roadmap implementation aligned with Hoshin Plan
- Plans and leads basic Lean Sigma projects (Kaizen Events)
