EHS Specialist
Nature and Scope The EHS Specialist is responsible for maintaining and improving current Environmental Health and Safety programs in an FDA regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment through implementation of identified EHS strategies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare, maintain, and follow procedures for the EHS systems and associated processes to adhere to company, OSHA, DEA and other federal, state, local requirements.
- Partner with EHS Management to audit EHS systems to baseline compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Regularly perform safety inspections of all NY facilities, assessing risk, documenting hazards, implementing and overseeing corrective actions to continuously build knowledge to ongoing EHS strategies.
