Role Summary
The Environmental Supervisor leads environmental compliance, program maintenance, and risk reduction across a large, complex manufacturing facility (approximately 1 million square feet). Reporting to the Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager, this role sets operational objectives, manages environmental reporting, and directly supervises hourly unionized environmental technicians responsible for daily wastewater and hazardous waste activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day environmental compliance and permitting activities associated with air emissions (Title V), industrial wastewater discharge permits, stormwater, and hazardous waste management.
- Supervise hourly unionized safety and environmental technicians; oversee staffing, performance management, workflow execution, daily activities, and operational process improvements.
