Editor / Speechwriter
What’s the role
- Reporting to the Head of Group Content, the Editor/Speechwriter writes and edits content capable of delivering maximum impact across a wide range of channels.
- The Editor/Speechwriter writes flagship speeches and other content for Executive Committee (EC) or Board members, aligning with the corporate narrative and maintaining a consistent tone of voice.
- The Editor/Speechwriter researches, plans, and develops content in support of our external corporate campaigns and communications, and edits other content developed by colleagues. You work closely with the wider Group Content, Campaigns, Digital Strategy & Channels, Financial, Business and Internal Communications teams, and with agency support when required.
- The Editor/Speechwriter also helps develop the team’s capabilities, including through mentorship of more junior colleagues.
