Job Description:
Position Purpose:
The DRR Field Facilitator will support the day-to-day implementation of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) activities at the community/camp level, acting as the frontline link between the project team and affected households. The role focuses on facilitating awareness sessions, household visits, data collection, and mobilization support to ensure vulnerable households, especially children, are reached with timely information and services.
Key Objectives of the Position:
Field-Level Facilitation
- Facilitate community awareness sessions on disaster preparedness, early warning signals, and response actions for landslides and flooding
- Support the mobilization of households/community members for CERT training, drills, and other DRR activities
