Lead the delivery of Kalepa's portfolio control layer for Chief Underwriting Officers (CUOs), turning underwriting strategy into measurable, defensible results across teams, lines, and markets. This role focuses on real-time risk selection, appetite execution, and portfolio performance, driving profitability through disciplined execution.
What You'll Do
- Own and operationalize the portfolio control layer that provides real-time visibility into decisions and how they shape the book.
- Monitor appetite compliance, mix shifts, emerging concentrations, and performance signals; translate strategy into proactive control actions.
- Drive profit-first submission prioritization, surfacing inbound opportunities based on predicted bind likelihood, profitability, appetite fit, and portfolio impact.
