Description
- Cryptocurrency Subject Matter Expert (SME) will support the Drug Enforcement Administration Diversion Control Division, a federal law enforcement agency, in the analysis of complex financial and business records to support federal diversion related investigations, prosecutions, and the seizure and forfeiture of illegally derived property.
Functional Responsibilities:
- Conduct blockchain forensic analysis to trace illicit cryptocurrency activity.
- Support financial investigations linked to Chinese marijuana farmland, pill presses, and chemical diversion.
- The SME will develop investigative leads through cryptocurrency wallet clustering, mixing analysis, and darknet monitoring.
