Position Summary
The Coordinator of Career Advising & Professional Development provides direct career advising, career education, mentoring, and professional development support to Roosevelt University students. The coordinator maintains an active advising caseload, manages the Professional Mentoring Program (PMP) and dayto-day administration of the PeopleGrove platform, and serves as the Office of Career Services’ primary liaison to the College of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences (CHESS). Working collaboratively with Career Services staff, faculty, alumni, employers, mentors, and other University partners, the coordinator delivers student-facing programs and resources that help undergraduate and graduate students build professional skills, networks, and connections to career opportunities.
