We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee accounting operations and strengthen the financial foundation of our manufacturing business in Powhatan, Virginia. This position is suited for a hands-on leader who can guide day-to-day finance activities, deliver reliable reporting, and support sound decision-making across the organization. The role offers the opportunity to manage a small accounting team while improving processes that help the business scale effectively.
Responsibilities
- Direct the full accounting cycle, including ledger maintenance, journal posting, accrual tracking, and account reconciliations.
- Lead monthly and annual closing activities to ensure financial records are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Produce financial statements and management reports that provide clear insight into business performance.
