Our Composites Design group is responsible for designing and developing lightweight, high-strength carbon fibre components that are critical to the performance and safety of our race car. As a Composites Design Student Placement, you’ll be part of a team that transforms advanced materials into race-winning structures.
The Role
During the placement, you’ll support the design and development of composite components, from concept through to manufacturing release. You’ll work closely with experienced design engineers, contributing to CAD modelling, laminate definition, tooling design, and documentation processes that ensure performance, manufacturability, and compliance with F1 regulations.
