About the Role
ExCare is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) to support the pharmacist in daily pharmacy operations, including prescription preparation, inventory management, record keeping, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the pharmacist in accurately preparing and dispensing prescriptions.
- Receive, shelve, rotate, and count medications and supplies.
- Monitor inventory and manage product expiry.
- Maintain accurate daily sales records and support basic expense tracking with appropriate approvals.
- Respond to customer enquiries and telephone calls or direct calls as appropriate.
- Keep the pharmacy, shelves, and work areas clean, organised, and compliant with operational standards.
