Summary
Under the direction of the Administrative Director, Cardiovascular Services, the Medical Director of Cardiac Catheterization Lab and the Cath Lab Nurse Manager, the Cath Lab Technologist will perform duties necessary for caring for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, structural heart, and peripheral procedures at a technical and professional level. Under direct supervision of the physician in the Cardiac Cath Lab, the Tech will assist in performing related radiographic/fluoroscopic imaging techniques to demonstrate catheter location, position and document findings. If the physician is unable to reach the controls for our imaging equipment, the Tech will assist with the movement of the equipment or change settings to the exact specifications stated by the physician.
