Carpenter, Golden Penny Foods – Nigerian Eagle Flour Mills
Purpose To carry out layout, installation, repair, finishing, and maintenance of wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings across the organization to support smooth operational activities and infrastructure upkeep.
The Job Construct and repair wooden structures such as pallets, storage boxes, and other wood-based installations. Design and install cabinets, shelving units, fitted furniture, drywall, and insulation structures. Install fixtures and fittings, including door handles, locks, hinges, and closures. Select appropriate lumber based on size, strength, and job requirements, ensuring cost-effectiveness. Take accurate measurements and calculate required materials for each task. Determine and calculate the required number of fasteners and consumables per task.
