FTE Status: Full-time (1.0 FTE) Setting: 100% Inpatient PICU Shifts: 12-hour rotating shifts (12-hr days / 14-hr nights); 24/7 continuous coverage (weekends/holidays required)
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Clinical Care & Resuscitation: Frontline management for high-acuity admissions, bedside decompensations, airway emergencies, and resuscitations. Perform daily H&Ps, interpret bedside diagnostics (ABGs, chest radiographs, hemodynamic monitoring), and coordinate step-down handoffs.
- Advanced Technologies & Interventions: Direct ECMO/ECLS care, manage/titrate CRRT, and administer complex mechanical ventilation modalities (e.g., HFOV).
