This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Lagos. The Accountant will manage daily financial operations, including preparing financial reports, maintaining accurate financial records, and overseeing budgeting activities. They will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, prepare tax submissions, and assist in audits. The role will also include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling financial discrepancies, and supporting the implementation of financial policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, in line with company policies and accounting standards.
- Manage project accounting activities, including tracking project costs, monitoring expenses, and ensuring accurate allocation of costs to specific projects.
