Brief Job Overview
- We are looking for a Accountant to join our team, a mid-level experienced candidate who will support the Finance / Accounts Unit with the task of guiding businesses and individuals in decisions about spending money to attain profit.
- You will analyse data, evaluate investment opportunities, and provide recommendations to stakeholders / Firms.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will (but not limited to):
- Ensures general ledger, subsidiary ledgers, and other financial records and schedules are accurately maintained.
- Institutes policies and procedures capable of protecting the business resources against waste, fraud, and inefficiency.
- Maintains procedures to establish tight control over cash transactions.
- Ensures timely follow up of accounts receivable and payable.
