About the Role
Account Trainee (Event and Volunteer Management) supports planning and execution of event and experiential marketing programs for the SAS Championship, a PGA TOUR Champions event held October 12–18, 2026 at Prestonwood Country Club. Based in Cary, NC, the Octagon staff manages all aspects of the event and works to recruit, supervise, and coordinate volunteers and partner activations to deliver a premier experience.
What You'll Do
- Recruit and manage 700+ event volunteers
- Manage recruitment and coordination of volunteers as well as the online volunteer database for scheduling management and communication plans
- During tournament week, oversee Volunteer Headquarters set up, including food and beverage, volunteer services and ensure volunteers are transported (if needed) to their respective on-course posts
