Your Role & Responsibilities
Summary
The Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily activities. It is the responsibility of the Shift Supervisor to ensure that raw materials are offloaded, received in, packaged and labeled properly, stored, staged, and loaded on trucks. The Shift Supervisor will ensure that the shift operates smoothly and safely while accomplishing all required work each shift.
Job Description
- Supervises a crew of employees.
- Performs regular safety checks with crew and ensures safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Responsible for shift pass down. Instructing the next staff on shift of incidents, expected workload etc. Ensuring effective communication between all team members.
- Responsible for packaging, filling, labeling, and storage of drums/totes/bags/supersacks of chemicals or chemical blends.
