About the Role
The role is to manage the workshop to its full potential and assist the Branch Manager in his/her functions. You will lead workshop operations, ensure safety, ISO and Volvo policy compliance, and drive profitability and customer satisfaction. What You'll Do
- Manage Key Performance Areas of staff; disciplinary procedures; conduct interviews; manage staff development and training matrix; prioritizing workload; plan shifts, standby; compile reports; inform Product Support Department of product failures; ensure technical information is updated; ensure warranty claims and maintenance contract claims are administered; ensure health & safety per OHSA 85 of 1993 and Volvo policy directives; manage the Lean for Retail program; manage mechanics KPIs (Productivity, Efficiency & Utilization); manage overtime; provide customers with excellent service; ensure work is carried out to…
