About the Role We are seeking a Welder for our Cartersville, GA facility on the 2nd shift (4:00pm-12:30am, Monday–Friday). The role focuses on welding aluminum cable trays, interpreting drawings, and fabricating parts, reporting to the Welding Supervisor. A background in lean manufacturing is a plus; there is a $1.00 per hour shift differential. What You'll Do
- Perform welding and fabricate parts as assigned
- Interpret drawings and ensure assemblies meet specs
- Weld aluminum cable trays and other lightweight fabrications
- Follow lean manufacturing practices and maintain a safe, efficient workstation
- Work the 2nd shift (4:00pm-12:30am) and be prepared for overtime as needed What We're Looking For
- 6+ months welding experience
- HS/GED
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Lift up to 50 lbs; stand for the duration of the shift
- Willing to work overtime
