About this role
About the Role The Welder 1 will prepare, arrange, fit, and assemble materials and components using TIG welding (GTAW) processes, interpreting drawings and ensuring safety, quality and efficiency in a lean manufacturing environment. What You'll Do
- Prepare, arrange, fit, and assemble a variety of materials (stainless, nickel alloy, Hast-X) and components using TIG welding processes and procedures.
- Assess weld parameter inputs and adjust during welding to ensure proper fusion and integrity.
- Interpret and execute production using drawings and blueprints.
- Complete necessary paperwork and computer entries accurately after completing work orders.
- Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and CMMs.
- Collaborate in a team environment focused on lean manufacturing, safety, and productivity.
- Take ownership of compliance, safety, quality, and efficiency.
