About the Role WBG Pioneers is the World Bank Group Internship Program offering undergraduates and postgraduates a hands-on learning experience in global development. Selected interns gain exposure to global procurement work within the Corporate Procurement department and contribute to the end-to-end acquisition process for the World Bank Group. What You'll Do
- Support Category Managers and Analysts with global procurement, sourcing, and category management activities.
- Assess client needs, prepare solicitations, and manage selection processes.
- Support procurement planning, market research, and review of technical specifications.
- Develop vendor qualification and evaluation criteria, prepare contracts, and support vendor discussions.
- Conduct market research, trend analysis, benchmarking, and cost-driver analysis.
