About the Role The Warehouse Operations Lead will oversee weekend warehouse activities in Lakeland, supervise staff, and ensure timely handling of shipments and inventory. This role focuses on safe, efficient operations and accurate recordkeeping to support our distribution needs. What You'll Do
- Supervise warehouse staff and monitor performance on assigned daily tasks
- Inspect incoming shipments for damages; reject damaged items; record shortages; and correspond with shippers to rectify issues
- Examine outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications
- Maintain accurate inventory and perform daily cycle counts to ensure consistency
- Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines; follow policy and procedures
- Maintain office functions including filing, billing, and matching receiving paperwork
